It's true what they say, kids grow so fast. I was inspired by many fabric artists to start sewing clothes for my daughter. I was drawn to the possibility of clothes fitting her for more than a couple of months. Enter GWM; clothes that fit for 9+ months and are one of a kind. The fabric world is so much bigger than I thought. The possibilities are endless!

Welcome to Royer Threads! My name is Jess. I live in Pennsylvania with my husband, daughter, son, 2 cats & 2 dogs. I started getting passionate about making custom clothing for my daughter when I realized that ready to wear clothing from stores didn't fit over her little cloth diaper bum. With the inspiration of some amazing makers in this new fabric/handmade clothing community I found myself in, I dove right in and started making!
I've always been a crafty person, so making clothing is just another notch to add to my crafting portfolio. I can pretty much pick up a new hobby quickly (for the most part) and love learning new things. I'm nowhere near as talented as other makers but I'm eager to get better and to share my new love of making clothing with you all!
Grow With Me clothing is designed to fit for a longer period with the fold over cuffs and waistbands. My daughter, for example, grew out of the 3-12m sizes when she was 17 months. It was bittersweet packing away my first makes but I quickly saw the opportunity to create a whole new wardrobe!
