Sewing Workshop Series: Beginner Skills + Stuffy Project
Join us for a fun and beginner-friendly sewing workshop series designed especially for homeschool families with children ages 6 and older!
Class 1: Sewing Machine Basics
In this introductory class, students will learn the fundamentals of using a sewing machine, including how to thread the machine, sew straight lines, and practice sewing curves. We’ll also cover basic hand sewing techniques, including how to stitch an invisible seam. This is a great opportunity to build confidence and sewing skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.
Class 2: Sew Your Own Stuffy
In the second class, students will put their new skills into action by sewing their very own stuffed animal to take home! We'll work through the steps together, from stitching pieces to assembling and finishing with an invisible hand seam.
